How to Make a Green Tea Latte

Green tea lattes are delicious, but they can be a drain on your wallet. With those $4, you could get a manicure for three of your fingers or buy an old bowling trophy from the DI (that's the Good Will for those outside of the U.T.). You could even help some people. What I'm saying is: for $4, I should get an entire burrito or its equivalent.

So, in an effort to save you a little flow, I've written step-by-step instructions on how I make my own version of a green tea latte at home, for a fraction of the cost. I've even added some sweet visuals using Hipstamatic for the iPhone. Let me stop here because this is all getting a little too-cool-for-school, so let's jump right in.

Supplies:
Green tea
(Try the organic version. It doesn't have that pesticide-y aftertaste.)
Milk or your favorite milk-like product
(I use Almond milk because I'm extra special.)
French press, Mug for green tea, Hip and large drinking mug.

 Instructions:
Brew one cup of green tea.
Pour green tea into Hip and large drinking mug. (Action shot!)
Heat 1/3 cup of Milk or milk-like product and transfer to French press.
Pump the Milk or milk-like product in the
French press to desired frothiness.
Pour the frothy goodness into Hip and large drinking mug.
Sip and enjoy the extra $4 in your pocket
or consider using it to help someone else.
