1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
1 pkg semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 cups confectioners' sugar, sifted
18 Oreos
1 Tbsp instant coffee granules
1 shot Kahlua (or however much you'd like)
3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 Tbsp butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x5 pyrex baking dish.
Crust
- Cover bottom of pan with finely chopped walnuts.
- Cut butter into pieces and spread out on top of walnuts.
- Bake at 350 for like 15 minutes. Set aside.
- Melt chocolate chips. Set aside.
- In a food processor, crush 18 cookies to fine crumbs.
- Dissolve instant coffee in the Kahlua.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and crushed Oreos until smooth.
- Gradually beat in confectioners' sugar until well blended.
- Stir in melted chocolate and Kahlua mixture until no streaks remain. It should be pretty thick.
- Spoon over walnut crust.
- Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
- Let cool and be cool.
- ENJOY!
DISCLAIMER: I was a little tipsy when I created this. I was attempting to make spiked truffles, actually, and I couldn't get the consistency to work out just right. Basically, there was no way I could roll this mixture into balls no matter the amount of chilling in the fridge. So, I improvised and the result was better than I could've ever imagined!
