Grandpa often reminded you that he had traveled around the world.
And it is true that his adventures and the Second World War took him across the world on a boat as far as India.
When asked how long he wanted to live, he said that since he had made it this far, he might as well live to be 100.
Sadly, his body couldn't fulfill his heart's wish and he died yesterday after living robustly for 99 years and 9 months.
I do hope it's true that "to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure."
